The most important reasons for Sami to move to the nuclear industry were an interest for complex systems and the importance of different models for successful design. At Platom Sami’s role is closely related to I&C and modelling and a producing a wide variety of technical material for nuclear projects.

Sami began his work in the nuclear industry at simulator related roles. His tasks have included modelling and testing of integrated I&C systems from a concept to already functional systems. Sami has worked as an expert at existing and upcoming nuclear and conventional power plants in Finland and internationally.
