Description

Janne works a wide variety of tasks at Platom: Chief Design Engineer, project manager, technical support for sales, production supervisor, testing and other roles which demand a high level of expertise in device and system deliveries and UF6 solutions. Nuclear devices are very diverse ranging from small units to complete systems. UF6 solutions -team produces tailored solutions for our customers for handling, sampling and process feed for uranium hexafluoride.

Experience

Janne has worked in the nuclear industry since 2008 when he began as a mechanical designer at Platom. Prior to this he has worked in machine shops since 1997 as a designer and quality manager. The most significant projects at Platom have been UF6 autoclave deliveries to Russia and USA in which Janne has been able to do almost every kind of task from tendering offers to delivering the finished product. The biggest role Janne has had has been the Chief Design Engineer in a modernization project of a nuclear power plant process system. In the recent years Janne has got additional training in machine safety and welding of which Janne completed the International Welding Engineer (IWE) degree.
