Platom Oy to strengthen its focus on expert services – UF₆ and system delivery business to continue under Enriqment Oy

Platom Oy is renewing its business structure and centralising new projects related to UF₆ as well as other equipment and system deliveries to Enriqment Oy. Following the change, Platom will strengthen its role as a provider of expert services for the nuclear industry.

Platom’s expert services related to the nuclear industry and radiation safety cover areas such as safety, licensing, regulatory approvals, technical studies, safety analyses and expert support for projects. The purpose of the renewal is to clarify the roles of the two companies and support the further development of both businesses.

Enriqment Oy has been established to design and implement equipment and system deliveries, with a particular focus on systems, equipment and solutions related to the handling of UF₆, uranium hexafluoride.

Ongoing projects agreed by Platom will be completed as agreed. New projects related to equipment and system deliveries will be directed to Enriqment. The cooperation between the two companies will continue closely, taking contractual restrictions into account, to ensure expert service and a clear operating model for customers also after the change.
